New Logo, New Cards I thought my old logo could use a little freshening up. Something simple and clean. Matte black finish, spot-UV coating on both sides, and a makeshift signature box I thought of to jot down random notes. I think they came out pretty nice! 05.28.09 |

Russian Roulette Another weekend, another shoot. Thanks to Tanisha at Lowrider GIRLS, she requested Allen, an up and coming model to get in front of my camera. I'll be honest, I wasn't totally sure what I was going to do with this shoot, but it evolved into something pretty cool. Allen is Russian, with a rough David Beckham-isque look (is that possible?), sans the tattoos. I thought he would look fitting in a run-down industrial surrounding. Clinton Thompson is an employee at Abercrombie and Fitch. Clinton Thompson's everyday outfit usually consists of a bright pastel polo with plaid shorts and sandals, courtesy (of course) from AandF. Easily one of the nicest guys I know. NOT a pavement-ripping beast that tears up downtown Los Angeles. But that was the challenge I was going for. Turning somebody who they're really not, into something totally different. This shot is a compilation of about 8 different photos. No streets were harmed in the making of this image. Lowrider GIRLS May-June 2009 Girls! Girls! Girls! What's going on here!?!?! Import Tuner isn't the ONLY magazine I art direct. Jong Cadelina and I share this, uh, eyebrow-raising magazine. This was the first GIRLS issue I worked on, sharing the task with the extremely talented Nick Saglimbeni, founder of Slickforce Stuidios (refer to my blog post here). I wish I could take all the credit for everything you see, but Nick did all of the model shooting and processing. My job was to piece them all together. When dealing with photographers like Nick, it makes me look a lot better, and my job a lot easier. 04.03.09 |

Vacation: Charleston, SC Back to the South, where I was born and raised. Sometimes nothing soothes the mind better than old friends, family, and sweet tea. Even better if you're sharing it with someone special. Be sure to visit the Mellow Mushroom on King St. for the best pizza ever, Bessigner's on Hwy 17 for the best BBQ ever, and the Blind Tiger Pub on Broad St. for the best spirts ever. 03.23.09 |

Import Tuner June 2009 You read right, the title is simply "Fast & Furious", yet another Fast & Furious flick is hitting the box office this summer. Gone is the director from the first two. In are the characters from the first flick, and the director from the 3rd installment, the talented Justin Lin. A guaranteed combination that's sure to please. The movie comes out April 3rd, so in the meantime check out Import Tuner's exclusive on the flick. And check my design page to see how this cover was pieced together. 03.08.09 |

![]() MUSIC!!!! Notice that little music player at the bottom of the page? Well that wasn't easy to plug into the website... well, not with my dinosaur web skills at least. So my friend Orlando (website to right) offered to help. And now I have beautiful music from Hol Baumann (We Are Analog) to enjoy while clicking on my images 100x a day! Be sure to listen to the entire song, it makes me want to light some incense candles and vege out for hours. 03.04.09 |

So I'm trying to get my feet wet with model photography and I hit the jackpot on the first planned shoot with Eri Moriyama being the prize. She's a professional model widely known as a Pepsi spokesmodel, and Falken Tire model. An extreme pleasure working with her.I was assisting John Batte, and managed to snap off a few shots. Expect to see a lot more collaboration between us two. Head over to the people page to see the high-res of this photo. 02.28.09 |

Nearly 1,500 hits on the redesign's opening day... That's a good 1,480 more than I usually get per day haha. I got a LOT of feedback on what to keep/change/trash, and a big THANKS to everybody. Biggest complaint seems to be the horizontal scrolling, well cry all you want, it's here to stay! Before long everyone will have 360 degree scrolling on their mouse (mice?), and I"m sure my site will be the catalyst for the 360 degree mice revolution. A few more tweaks are in the works, like some feel-good music, and more categories. Visit often. Email me, I email back. clint@clintdavis.net 02.25.09 |

Import Tuner May 2009 The first GT-R to grace the cover of Import Tuner... It's about time! But considering how hard it is to modify these electronic rubik's cubes, I can see why. 02.15.09 |
