01 .01.08 - Look at me Mom!!
OK I realize 2 posts (1 year) earlier I announced I was the
Turbo and Honda Tuning Art Director.. and NOW I'm the Import Tuner Art
Director, but I still sit in the same chair as before since the magazines
are owned by the same publisher. Sad? Hell no! Import
Tuner is the creame of the crop, and as far as I'm concerned (a
little biased), the covers and photography set the trends that other
magazines follow. Find out for yourself and pick up a few copies, which
may translate into me getting a raise! Everybody wins!! Check out the
new issues added to my
Mag Tearsheets section.

06.01.07 - YES EVERYONE! CA is GREAT & the weather is warm, so quit
asking!
Wow, yea California is awesome. Believe the hype, it's all
true. Incredible weather, nice people, and 1,000,000 things to do at
any given moment. I eat sushi at least once a week, my chopstick skills
have gotten respectable, and i guess i'm dressing more trendy... at
least that's what my family says. Annnnnnnyways, check out some of the
work I've been doing since i got here on the
Mag Tearsheets page. The work shown is only the tip of the iceberg,
but I gotta show something to my imaginary fanclub :)

12.10.06 - "As part of my recent competitive strategy"
I am very pleased to annouce my employment with Primedia,
fullfilling the Art Director position for both Turbo
and Honda
Tuning magazines. Seems like just yesterday I was 13 years old flipping
the same magazine pages by my nightstand. MANY MANY thanks to the people
who helped and supported me to get me to where I am today. By reading
this, you now must buy 3 year subscriptions!

12.09.06 - PRINTS PRINTS PRINTS PRINTS!!!!
That's it folks, I've sold myself out. You can now buy my prints,
hang them on your walls, and impress all your chums by telling them
YOU took the picture. Just kidding, I'm implanting self-destruct chips
into each print that detect selfless gratitude. Just click on the new
link at the top of the navigation... pick your favorites, choose
a size, and give me a buzz!

08.17.06 - NEW section added to digital portfolio
A lot of hard work and long hours have been spent in the RPM
Communications office, and now I've made the fruits of our labor viewable
with easy to view web scrollies!.. but of course it's always better
to check out the mags on the shelves ;-)

07.12.06 - Inbetween shooting bikes and laying out pages for
the awesome 2Wheel Tuner mag, I still snap the old-faithful 4-wheel'd
cars. Besides, Tunerzine is what's helped me get to where I am today!
This month I got cover with an Atlanta 350Z, decked out with all the
sugar from the candy aisle. For a bonus, check out my post-processing
page for a sneak peek on how I did the shoot.

06.01.06 - Tunerzine is stepping it up. New layout, new eager
photograhers, and hot cars as always. I contributed a 1000+hp Supra
for the June issue. This baby packs a punch, and is straight sinister
when seeing those headlights in the rear view mirror.

05.24.06 - It's official, my dues are paid and my portfolio
has been approved to be apart of the SportsShooter family! SportsShooter
is an online community for sports photographers to share techniques,
ideas, business, etc. Many professionals wear the badge of an SS member,
and I'm proud to be able to rub shoulders with the big guys. Visit my
member page here

05.12.06 - Oh my it's the ladies! Natually when shooting for
2Wheel Tuner I'm going to be forced (I swear they have to drag me out
of the office!) to shoot beautiful models from across the nation. On
the left is the Atlanta sensation Justene
Jaro, posing with her new bunny... long story. And on the right
is Jana Horak from
the Stargirlz posing on the 400+hp MPH Hayabusa.

04.15.06 - Still shootin them cars. The Supra has been added
to my automotive section of my portfolio. The beast churns out over1,300hp
that helps the earth turn on those sluggish days. Give me some feedback,
I answer all my e-mails!

03.27.06 - I met Devin during my school days at East Tenn.,
and he was a photo-nut just like me. I taught him a few tricks and now
he's the best photographer around! (...in Elizabethton, TN :-)) So good
in fact that I built him a snazzy website to show off his work. Give
him a look, he's on the rise.

02.26.06 - So I'm starting to convert to the 2 wheel'd side
of the go-fast world... I just moved over to 2Wheel
Tuner magazine and I couldn't be happier. The magazine is all about
sportbikes, with a focus on the aftermarket scene. Next time you're
in your local Barnes&Noble pick up a copy and flip through!

02.24.06 - This month my work is featured in 3 magazines. A
700hp SC430 in Modified Luxury & Exotics, NSX in Import Performance,
and an S2K and GSR in the revived S3 Magazine... so what better way
to celebrate than a spiffy wallpaper of the same car that is featured
in MLE? OK that was a little corny, but enjoy!

--- 1600x1200

01.29.06 - Looks like all my hard work paid off! I have a dream
job working for S3 Magazine out of Atlanta, GA (which is keeping me
very busy!). Big thanks to Donny Mak, Josh Mackey, Jason Siu, Easton
Chang, Joey Redmond and anyone else who believed in me and helped me
along the way. Check the mag at www.s3mag.com
.... ps, come March issue you'll see big changes o_O

12.01.05 - The winter months are upon us...and boy do I love
December, this year's December is going to be even better! Graduation,
birthday (27th, send me some photo gear), Christmas, AND New Years....
Ok so maybe New Years doesn't fit into December, but you know how that
goes. get right-click'n!

11.16.05 - Desktop looking lame? What better way to cure that
than with a genuine 100% fresh clintdavis.net wallpaper! In 3 select
delicious sizes:

--- 1280x960
--- 1600x1200

11.13.05 - My buddy Aaron drove up from Atlanta to hang out
with us for the weekend. After grabbing a hangover-reducing burger,
we decided to snap a few quick pics of his D2 suspension riding S2000.
I was itching to use my 70-200 again, and I also needed to practice
my "smoothing" techniques.

11.01.05 - For this month's tunerzine feature I chose a Fraken-bimmer
from the hills of Eastern Tennessee. This Euro beast has an engine from
a euro E36 M3, custom widebody kit, a wing that would make a 747 jealous,
and a stripped interior. Uber bliss.

10.30.05 - I'm heading out to the wild yonder of the West for
this year's SEMA Show. A lot of people to meet, and good times to be
had :) See ya if you're there!

10.27.05 - I've finally fallen prey to the trendy blog (web
log). My friends Mackey and Armin started a photography blog network,
and they got me in on it too. Visit my blog often to keep tabs of my
most recent work!......or else

10.01.05 - This month for tunerzine.com I'm seeing red. I submitted
Nick's badass drag integra, and a hot NSX I came across at the NOPI
Nationals. The NSX landed cover for this month's tunerzine. Check em
out!

09.26.05 - This semester I'm taking Studio Photography. I'm
just now learning the basics, so nothing crazy yet. A friend of mine
and I hit the studio to try some shots out. She's a fashion guru so
I went for the fashion look.

09.18.05 - So I finally got a chance to shoot the craze called
drifting at this years NOPI Nationals. It was a lot more exciting that
I thought it would be. In a tiny parking lot these fellas are hitting
some fast speeds... all while sideways! I have a lot more respect for
these drivers, and it's hella fun to shoot em from the infield.

09.13.05 - After learning the ropes of ceiling flash, they
set me loose to cover the ETSU vs. Furman volleyball match. Also I'm
just now stretching out the legs of my new 70-200 L glass, and I'm lovin
it!

09.06.05 - 1 week after school starts and I finally have
internet access! I landed a nice on-campus job for shooting for ETSU
athletics. I'll be out on the field shooting everything from intramurals
to NCAA championships. I'll be sure to update you on some of my favorites
from the season.

09.01.05 - For this month's issue of tunerzine.com
I shot my friend Holly's turbo Mirage. This car has come a long way,
and deserves some attention. Give it a click and check it out!

08.22.05 - School is just around the corner... I start back
on the 29th. FINAL SEMESTER. Feels like I've been in school since I
was 5. Oh wait I have been.

08.22.05 - I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon and
night taking pictures of this prestine E46 M3. The sky couldn't of been
any more beautiful and the car any sexier!

08.18.05 - Did some quick shots for my friend Holly.
She just got her hot Work Emotion wheels on her turbo Mirage and is
aiming to get some (cough) nice sponsorships and mag coverage.

08.13.05 weekend - Snaped some coverage of the first annual
Elite Summer Nationals for tunerzine.com.
The Spartanburg, SC show went well, and I'm looking foward to hitting
up the show next year.

08.10.05 - This car is ridiculous. B18 GSR pushing
450fwhp. And since it's one of the few nice cars around Spartanburg,
SC that ISN'T white I decided to take the afternoon to get some good
snaps. Look for it in the October issue of tunerzine.

08.08.05 - Practice practice practice. Desmond
Performace of Charlotte, NC was nice enough to let me do some rig
shots on their new Do-Luck 350Z. Trust me the car is even nicer in person!

08.06.05 - Spartanburg doesn't offer much light at
night (or cars for that matter), but I was able to get some cool rig
shots tonight. These shots made me happy since it proved that the rig
could get a full car in shot over a long exposure.

08.01.05 - My daredevil friend just upgraded to a Yamaha R1
(yea good combination right?). We met in the mountains of Saluda to
snap some action pics. It's much harder than I thought to catch an R1
on a tight road at 140+!!!!

08.01.05 - I searched the Charlotte, NC area long and
hard to find my next subject for tunerzine.com.
I came upon this Acura TSX. Not the craziest of cars out there, but
how many modded TSX's do you see everyday? Thanks to Desmond
Performance for letting me shoot the car, and of course tunerzine
for placing my work as COVER for August, WOOHOO!!!

07.01.05 - *ring ring* Hello GMP,
hook me up with one of the cleanest cars at your shop for a feature
in tunerzine.com.
Stephen provided me with a nice E46. First time shooting a VIP car,
so I aimed for a more classy business atmosphere.

05.23.05 - Brian Hibbs who discovered my work and the
staff of tunerzine.com
have given me a chance to shoot for them! I'm very honored to shoot
for such a reputable online magazine, for I am put shoulder to shoulder
with some of my photography mentors. Hope you enjoy my first feature
of my friend Sharif's 350Z!

04.23.05 - East Tenn. State University's EDGE
club hosted an art show for all students to enter. I entered 2 displays
of my automotive work, and took home 1st place in Color Photography.
ETSU churns out some nice work so I was pleased to hear mine was one
of the top!
